DIGA garden party photo album
Disabled Independent Gardeners Association (DIGA) celebrated the 2011 harvest by hosting an afternoon tea at VanDusen Botanical Garden, Vancouver.

The event, held early November, brought together DIGA clients and volunteers for a celebration of the importance of access to gardening for people with disabilities. There were updates about DIGA’s volunteer-assisted community gardening, one-on-one assisted home gardening and adapted tool programs.
Education Director Gillian Drake previewed their visitor centre, and offered tours of the new facility.

Enjoy!
