DIGA enables people with significant physical disabilities to enhance their quality of life through involvement in gardening.   Through active participation, DIGA facilitates the rehabilitation of people with significant physical disabilities by engaging them in gardening.   Our seasonal workshops provide information to help physically disabled people learn good gardening techniques and provide an opportunity for able-bodied and disabled gardeners to meet, socialize and exchange information.   DIGA works with the Tetra Society of North America to provide volunteer engineers who modify gardening tools or create custom built gardening implements according to the unique requirements of a member's disability.   DIGA volunteers visit our members in their homes to advise and help with their garden on an individual basis. DIGA operates an active volunteer recruiting program to ensure all gardeners have volunteer help.   DIGA volunteers visit our members in their homes to advise and help with their garden on an individual basis.
